Acadia – The second largest island on the east coast (behind Long Island and ahead of Martha’s Vineyard) has a shoreline that provides many picturesque rocky beaches as well as vistas that are awe inspiring. We hiked to the top of some peaks, went on bike rides through carriage trails and meditated on rocks with a lighthouse as our backdrop. Ranger hikes were fantastic and informative guides about the evolution of this area and the fauna. Scott was able to brew at our campsite! Can’t wait to hear the name of this beer!
- Thunder Hole in Acadia National Park
- The carriage trail and bridges were a surprise for us as we rode our bikes for 14 or so miles.
